  • User: Any individual who accesses or interacts with TrustyFans.com, including Creators and Fans.
  • Creator: A registered User who uploads content and may receive payouts.
  • Fan (or Visitor): A User who views or interacts with content but does not upload or sell content.
  • Content: All media, text, images, messages, or other materials submitted to the platform.
  • User Content: Any Content provided by a User, excluding account registration data and payment credentials.


2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

TrustyFans is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, their account and associated data will be deleted. A soft age gate is used to deter unauthorized access by minors.

3. Information We Collect

We collect different types of personal data depending on your interaction with the platform. Users must provide accurate and truthful information during registration. Submitting false identity data may result in account suspension or termination. 

A. From Creators:

  • Legal name and stage name
  • Date of birth and gender
  • Country of residence
  • Physical attributes (as voluntarily provided)
  • Email address and username
  • Social media links
  • Uploaded photos, videos, and media
  • Messages to fans or support
  • IP address and device/browser details
  • General location (via IP geolocation)
  • Session data via Google Analytics and HotJar
  • Payment-related metadata from Stripe or PayPal (no card or bank info stored)


B. From Fans (Non-registered Visitors):

  • IP address, browser/device type
  • Any optional communication with Creators or support
  • Google Analytics and HotJar tracking data
  • Cookie usage data for performance and security
  • Email (if submitted through contact or support)

4. How We Collect Data

We collect data when:

  • Creators register or create profiles
  • Users upload content, send messages, or interact with platform features
  • Users contact support or submit inquiries
  • Analytics tools and cookies operate during site use
  • We receive data from service providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, analytics vendors)


5. How We Use Your Data

For Creators:

  • To verify identity (if needed), prevent fraud, and maintain a secure and trustworthy environment. Legal names are not shared publicly. 
  • Manage accounts and public profiles
  • Facilitate platform features and payouts
  • Verify age and identity using third-party tools
  • Provide support and respond to inquiries
  • Analyze usage for platform improvements
  • Enforce compliance with safety and content standards
  • Fulfill regulatory or tax obligations


For Fans:

  • Deliver content and features
  • Improve site performance and personalization
  • Monitor engagement and trends
  • Address support requests and ensure platform security


Legal Bases:
We process personal data under one or more of the following grounds:

  • Consent (e.g., when signing up or contacting support)
  • Performance of a contract (e.g., payout and account services)
  • Legal obligation (e.g., financial and tax compliance)
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., platform safety, performance analytics)


6. Sharing Your Information

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., DigitalOcean)
  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).  We do not collect or store any financial account numbers.   • Analytics and session tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HotJar)
  • Identity or compliance vendors
  • Government agencies or law enforcement, when legally required

We do not sell your personal information. We may share aggregated or anonymized data for analytics or business development purposes that does not identify individuals.

Your data may be stored or processed in the United States and other jurisdictions. TrustyFans uses infrastructure hosted by DigitalOcean, which may involve processing in the U.S., Canada, UK, EU, India, Singapore, or Australia.

  • Creators: Data is retained until account deletion. After deletion, data is stored for 30 days, then permanently erased unless required by law.
  • Fans/Visitors: Analytics and communication data is retained only as long as needed for support, performance monitoring, or legal compliance.

We use cookies and tracking tools for:

  • Session management and authentication
  • Site performance and personalization
  • Analytics (e.g., page views, heatmaps, visitor flow)
